Chocolate Covered Strawberry HeartsChocolate covered strawberries get a Valentine's upgrade with a beautiful heart shape and a drizzle of Claire's Goodness almond butter to top them off. They are the perfect treat to surprise your family, friends, and loved ones with!
All it takes is 4 simple ingredients and a few moments of patience to put them together ;)

Makes: 8 hearts
Gluten Free, Paleo, Vegan
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (I like to use an allergen free option like Enjoy Life or Pascha)
- 8 Strawberries
- 1-2 Tbsp Claire's Goodness Almond Butter
- 1-2 Tsp Chopped Almonds
Rinse and dry strawberries. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
For each strawberry, chop off the top and cut in half from the top to make 2 triangle shapes. If you want to make more perfect heart shapes, trim off pointed top edges to form an arc shape. Place halves together to form hearts and put toothpick through the center to hold them together.
Melt chocolate chips in small pan or bowl. Dip strawberry hearts in melted chocolate to completely cover, shaking off excess. Place on waxed paper and place in freezer 15 minutes to set chocolate.
Remove from freezer and carefully remove toothpick from each heart. Decorate with drizzled almond butter and chopped almonds. Tip: if you want a finer drizzle you can put Claire's Goodness almond butter in a piping bag or use a small plastic bag with a small hole cut in one corner.
